Will Google add guest accounts to Webmaster Tools?

On February 26, 2009, Google software engineer Matt Cutts collected questions on Google Moderator and answered many of them on video.

Is Google planning to create read-only "Guest accounts" for Webmaster Tools? Many clients (particularly in heavily regulated industries e.g. banks) are very reluctant to provide access to a third party.

For those watching this video post 2009, this feature has now been added. The host server needs to either upload your verification file or add a meta tag to their homepage. Very nice feature for those who do client work.
