@InventorWillimczik Well, I at least hope the cat ate him. I hate that cats will kill birds just to "play" with them. I can respect hunting but not killing for sport.

It is sad that this cardinal will never sing again.
It came every day to my bird feeder
In the morning I found only the head and some feathers from this nice bird.
Suspect number 1 is neighbors black cat, to see in the longer video.

The cardinal is very vocal and they are all so adorable. You must have a nice backyard oasis for them.

I am happy that they stay now for many years, but they need the right conditions. Everything for them must be placed out of reach of cats, squirrels etc (Feeding on a table was for this video only.) The also present blue rays are bullies, but helping the cardinals at danger with loud squeaking sound.
More people should protect such nice singing birds.
