@ghostswerepeopletoo Yes I agree!

@ghostswerepeopletoo yes.. I think Johnny just oozes the sexiness. Santini, it's the smile and that wink!!
-
Thanks man! Being born in 1962 these were the first doowop singers I ever saw.
On TV of course, lol.

@ghostswerepeopletoo love your s/n lol These two guys were the sex symbols of this band. Both could connect with an audience with smoldering electricity. Johnny is just flat out gorgeous and Santini is very handsome. Both have superb voices. Of course my fave is Johnny. Santini is a pro with Elvis songs. Johnny is the king of the ballads.
Thank you, thank you, thank YOU!!!! This has made me soooo happy. You cannot even imagine the look on my mom's face when I play them for her...Awesome.

I CAN imagine! When I was a kid, my dad had taped episodes of Sha Na Na and I watched them over and over again (this was on one of the tapes) but we lost them. Then I came across some videos again and I flipped out hearing all of these old songs again. I love sharing the Sha Na Na love hehe =)

How did you get tapes?? The show was on from 77 til 81 where I lived (no VCR's back then)and I used to tape the songs from the show on a hand-held cassette player sitting in front of the TV. I would KILL for videos of the shows (since they are apparently NEVER going to release them on DVD!!!) Thanks SOOO much for posting these. I can now get my daily Johnny Contardo fix:)WOO!!

Well, there were reruns on TV later on and in 1988 there was a Sha Na Na marathon on Labor Day weekend. My dad taped that. But also, other fans taped reruns and that's how I've got them. I would love it if they released it on DVD though. Much better quality, sound, etc. That would be fantastic! I'll be posting more videos soon, too. =)

You are very welcome! I love watching the clips so I wanted to share! I know I looked about a year ago on YouTube for clips from the show and couldn't find any. So once I got some of them, I knew I just HAD to share them.
