TIMOTHY LEARY'S DEAD (off with his HEAD!) but not really.

"The official story is that Leary changed his mind about the deep freeze a month before he kicked the bucket. This might be true and might not, so don't ask me, this is not a press conference. The point is, Timothy Leary finally announced that he didn't want his head becoming an icon, and that he distrusted cryonics labs. So the official story is, he chose another publicity stunt for his farewell party instead - he was cremated and had some of his ashes shot into space.

But within a few months of Timothy Leary's death, our movie came out with an ending scene that showed Dr. Tim's demise, decapitation, and the storage of his frozen head. That's when the LSD guru's most serious-minded devotees got VERY upset with me and threatened to banish me if I ever showed up at one of their raves. Apparently, they kicked me out of Hippie-Land forever, and never again would I show up in San Francisco with flowers in my hair. Many of the former leaders of the Psychedelic Revolution denounced me because I had the audacity to do something UNTHINKABLE. They forgot that the very lesson Timothy taught us was that NOTHING is UNTHINKABLE, so do it (as long as it doesn't hurt anybody)."-Alienzoo

Dr. Leary died of inoperable prostate cancer, and he'd planned an elaborate death ritual for himself. He'd set up webcams where fans of his work could watch him commit suicide in real time. Instead he died in his sleep, uttering the last words: "why not."

Later, his ashes were loaded into the same 9x12 inch canister containing the remains of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and blasted into space on the Pegasus Rocket.

Now this guy is homeless and just wanders every where i really cant explain what wrong with him, he walks around with one hand supporting his head which is always cocked sidways ...he does not speak..seems lost like no one is driving ...and this guy got lsd dumped in he drink by fellow football players while a young man

@SionWeeks obvious you have no idea what you are talking about.....stay off of Wikipedia it does not help your argument . i personally know two people that have psychological problems due to lsd overdose. one is a child hood friend of my cousin. this fellow believes that his huffy bike is the world's fastest and most expensive bike on the planet and believes that he is the son of millionaires, and humps couches while sleeping. he had lsd spilt on his leg.
