PLEASE READ THIS

This is very hard to explain but I tried my best... it's something I very familiar with and I wanted to share it with other people... Because too often I see people just tell people to get over it and do whatever then need to, thinking that it's laziness or they want to be irresponsible... but it's not, it's really hard to break out of that cycle

  • I know this sounds silly but I believe the small things that we can do, and not so much for what they are but just for the fact that we engage our phisiology and something happens when the mind sets a goal and then fulfills it is very important. Like if I told myself I was going to go for a 20 minute walk and I just got up and did it, even actions that have no great meaning. It must somehow engage our minds and begin to use neuro pathways that arent being used. Does this make sence?

  • Quite a lot... in fact it is he exact counter measure to this problem... view things as small doing rather then overwhelm oneself with the whole system...

  • And the part on transcending humanity reminds me of some ideas of Buddhism.

Anyway, it's been nice for me talking to you and hearing your opinions.

    Cheers :)

  • Sure... it does sound Buddhist because it comes from it... but with some twists... either way I don't really believe in religions... I see them as a system that have outlived their usefulness and are now more troublesome for the most part... Buddhism oddly enough is one of the few that isn't...

I really have nothing against religious people... if they wish to chose that reality so be it... all I ask is that they leave mine in peace...

  • Actually, it's my fault... I manipulate her into aiding me to stay helpless... it's sort of a natural reaction (so is blaming myself, but then, I'd rather blame myself then others)

  • Well, this winter I have been to swamped to be bored... between painting large murals- well for murals I guess they are small but still very big- School problems, and all the cooking I've been doing...

Not as easy as that... and whenever I actually try going out... I reaffirm that I find it uncomfortable...

It's a luxury that few people can function and afford... but I do take comfort in know what I am... I doubt there are many people who could live like I do... for what's inside through...

  • That is quite a unique way of looking at religion and i have to admit there seems to be some truth in that, judging from the conflicts, wars, etc. people been getting into due to religion.

Just like what you mentioned earlier - living with watever reality you choose, so long as you can live with the outcome. Same thing for religion.
