be still and know that i am God. . he revealed his charcter to moses. moses was on the mountain for 40 days and nights. a long prayer meeting. but i wonder how many times moses become still and waited on the lord. Gods presence changes you, it corrects you,. my brothers and sisters take the time out to be still and know that he is God. jer 9:23 (1) but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me,,

We had this as a our wedding hymn and I still find it appropriate to use it at the beginning of a service.

this is one of my favourite hymns.
When i was at a S.U camp (scripture union) our leaders all prayed for us while Dougie played this on his guitar and sang it softly. That was the night i gave my heart to the Lord 2 weeks before my 13th birthday and i will never look back!
