  • Thank you answering... I have for quite a while trying to get some information about my grand parents who who lived in Brake in the 40's and died there,,,I believe....My father was born in Brake in 1894 and came here to the USA, married and had me....My name is Alex Golzwarden like my father and grand parents, . I know the town of Golzwarden was incorparated into Brake....I am interested in how to contact someone there who can help me.. find where and when did they die.. Thank you Alex I am 84

  • Very interesting ! I have been in Brake last week - visting my wife's parents. Today we live in Berlin. Next time I visit them, I might have a look on Golzwarden cemetary. But normaly the graves will be erased after 25 years in Germany. But perhaps the "Standesamt" of the "Landkreis Wesermarsch" in Brake can answer your questions.

  • enil250 Do you know Brake well or do you live there?

  • I have been living some mls. south of Brake several years ago
