In overwhelming numbers, faith-based healthcare professionals and students will quit medicine before compromising religious convictions. Patient access—especially in medically underserved areas--will suffer if faith-based healthcare professionals are forced to violate their moral and ethical codes.

Right of Conscience is a basic fundamental right protected in our constitution. This right for healthcare professionals is under attack. Forcing healthcare professionals to violate their conscience is not good medicine nor does it provide good outcomes. The Freedom2Care Coalition aims to immediately protect the new federal HHS "provider conscience" regulation, and to continue to educate and persuade the public, policy makers and the medical community regarding conscience rights.
