  • if there's one thing Trek has taught me over the years, it's to ALWAYS rotate your shield frequencies.

  • 4:02 to 4:07 was kinda sad. Thats the best the flagship can do,firing all weapons, 3 phaser arcs and 3 torpedoes at a time? WTF?

  • @Qusza2007 So why did they build the battle bridge? IF the werent expecting trouble then why give the Enterprises the ability to saucer sep AND why didnt picard employ that?

  • @mlee2001

Truth is that Kirk's Enterprise was build in times of war between Federation and Klingons (with ocassional skirmishes with Romulans and minor species like Orions for example) so she needed firepower to hold out vs thier ships when Enterprise - D was put to service in times of relative peace time where huge firepower wasn't really necessary as Starfleet apparently assumed, paying lately dire price for going "Bluehelmetish" in thirer way of galaxy eploration...

  • @mlee2001

    HAHAHAHA....Glad someone else notices that

  • So... a Borg ship that's 3 kilometers to a side only has one tractor beam emitter? How funny would it have been if their "random settings, don't give them time to adapt" maneuver had been followed up by 12 more tractor beams locking onto them.

  • Why scene with chocolate woman cut? It good.

  • @CaitiVoltaire Well, as I understand it, Kirks Enterprise could level a planet... Therefore Picards Enterprise, being appxy 75 years more advanced, seems to have less firepower than Ncc-1701? Im glad Starfleet is on the job, but the red tape is a bitch.

  • @mlee2001 The flagship of the time was an exploration vessel, not a battlecruiser. Actually in many ways the battle of Wolf 359 was a turning point for the Federation, when Starfleet started to realise that they need to be able to protect their worlds effectively as well, and designed the Akira, San Paolo, and later Prometheus class starships. From then on they were better prepared to deal with this kind of thing.

  • Picard anytime, or other people.
