    I saw the decemberists last night in omaha, and the lead singer specifically said, "let's delve into the homoerotic trenches of our music." i'm gay and love them, just thought it was an interesting tidbit.

    It takes an immature and romanticized view of the First World War? I think the one concept worth expressing in this song was "But I/Never felt so much life/Than tonight" however the overall tone of the song sort of spoiled it for me...
