Well, no as you never have to touch the key (it's not an acutal key but that's what I call it) once or remove it from your pocket. Walk up to the car and as soon as you pull the handle it unlocks as it's detected the key in your pocket. You can then start the car once you're in as it knows the key is in the car. Still in your pocket. Once you're done, you press the small lock button on the door handle and the car locks as it knows the key is outside the car again. Pretty seamless if you ask me.

ive seen in other cars they have some magnet thing that they put on the dashboard, and then ur able to start the car
