  • Just to inform you all, next week will be another Savage Worlds Review, for those that love SW WOO HOO for those that don't or are tired of us doing them, sorry... That's the last episode in the can, after that we will be taking a short break to catch up on things and getting ready for a whole slew of new / old games and other surprises. That's not to say you've seen the last of SW, Kurt loves it and is currently playing it.

    Thanks for watching

  • I'm totally for Kurt reviewing stuff he enjoys. I mean, this is something he does for fun. That's totally cool with me. However, I don't know if I'll just keep on watching review after review of a game system I don't play or even have interest in. I miss the days when he actually reviewed all sorts of game systems.

  • No more Savage Worlds games PLEASE!!!!!!!

There are so many indie games developers out there that would love to have you review their work.

  • Dark Sun isn't that dark.

  • I find it hard to diss Kurt for doing SW products. I mean, he loves it and it is his show, and he is good at these reviews.

  • You may want to check out Legends of Steel.

  • Suggestion... how about reviewing something like the Battletech A Time of War Beta

  • Savage worlds again?

  • I played Dark Sun back when it was 2e and liked it a lot. We'll see how gritty they can make it with the 4e rules. They say that they'll try for something different than the basic 4e for that, but I guess we'll see.

  • dude, you should do something else besides reviewing games. that'd be great, another step in the gaming world.

anyway, it's not that i don't like SW reviews (i bought the system and like 2 other setting games with it), it's that there are sooo many of those reviews.

anyway, all's good, keep up the good work.

  • Dark Sun is the official campaign setting for the DND4e in 2010. I was about to jump ship when i heard the news. Probably one of the best settings ever, it's hardcore gritty and awesome.

You could probably "get it" thru torrent sites.

  • I haven't ever played savage worlds before but I still find these reviews interesting. Thanks Kurt!

  • You might want to keep track of D101 Games' upcoming Savage North adventure pack. The corebook to this supplement can be downloaded for free from their site. It basically works with a d100 system.
