don't forget to rate comment share, demolish, annihilate etc.
YOU NEED TO TRY THIS METHOD TO REALLY UNDERSTAND ME.
so, my friend QualiaSoup made a fine video about how and why he rejects, quite properly, supernatural events.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f15PNrk94kg

i opened my big mouth and left some comments indicating my belief in a certain method of "dowsing" - that it is real and not supernatural. the rub is whether i am doing this, making the needle move despite my best efforts not to, and fooling myself into believing it is caused by natural forces other than my all natural self.

THOUGHT SERIES 1) (before during and after dowsing) i can control my actions, by intentionally committing an act; holding the rod steady. i am holding it steady. it lines itself up with the water line. it was not me because i just told my self to hold 'er steady and i did truly act on that thought. thus i deduce an unknown force of nature must be causing it to move.

THOUGHT SERIES 2) (kicks in right about now) Scientifically, it is settled; there is no natural force acting on the rod. There is no ion flux or galactic ray beam or electromagnetism or anything. not a damn thing. you were not able to control your body. you moved it. you played a grand trick on yourself, fool. your body did what you wanted and blinded you to your action to give you the result you wanted.

THOUGHT SERIES 3) lurching, creaking noises, grinding gears 666error code 07&#)*@&$@#*)&$*#@@%%&^&%&

later, rabidape picked up the ball and sort of offered to devise some scientific tests, in an effort to make me rich! my goal is to obtain assistance claiming the randi prize million dollar challenge, by proving the witch can dowse!

  • Called the ideomotor effect. Have fun.

  • @Jarathe and your point is, homer? that you can't read?

  • The word to describe this is self delusional, and the ideomotor effect is in effect here. But you go on believing it. If some sucker is foolish enough to pay for your services, then you have should be mandated to separate fools from their money.

  • @minnescanada have you tried it?

  • this is great very good : )

  • This works for any pipes or wires-under or above ground.

  • @minnescanada I used this system to find underground water on my property. I had started a well and hit rock about 10 feet.(no water) After using this very same system I dug in a location that indicated by this system....and found water at 25 feet. I was even able to determine the direction of the underwater stream. no rocks...WITCHCRAFT ??? nope I'm no wizard... just positive and negative energy.... like a compass. I dug my well 80ft deep for irrigation purposes.

  • Pokemon?

  • @minnescanada Coat hangers that have been cut, then reshaped into an "L" formation will do the same thing as what is shown in the video.....seriously! give it a try, anybody can do it.
