I got the template and general idea here:
http://family.go.com/images/cms/entertainment/content/Mouse%20Ears.pdf

http://family.go.com/crafts/craft-766435-mickey-and-minnie-ears-t/

(Family Fun is the boss when it comes to kid cooking and crafting, btw! just so you know!)

but got some better instructions with the foam in the ears (more sturdy) here:
http://www.thesuburbanmom.com/2010/06/16/how-to-make-mickey-minnie-mouse-ears...

These really are easy to do and make fantastic party favors for a Mickey Mouse themed party. I cannot wait to see all the kids running around in them :)

Sorry, I try not to load two crafts in a row since they are generally so few and far between, but I wanted to load these since today is Bain's birthday. I know I promised the Chili Mac vid today--it will load tomorrow!

  • I went to my local craft store, and I found this sticky felt that is thick and hard. Should I get that or should I get the ones that are soft like the ones you have?

  • @lennzlee Go for the thick stuff.. The sturdier they are, the better! Then maybe you won't have to put the foam in the centers. Experiment with one first and if it needs the foam, then add it in the others

  • hermosas gracias por ke tengo que hacer uina de minie ... congratulations ... cute and lovle

  • @loreynisima thank you :)

  • @ComeMonday5

    $3.50 for 5 headbands

40% off craft foam at Michaels Crafts this week

    3 ft x 3 ft black felt was $4

Wired ribbon for Minnie I had a 40% off coupon but this was $3 regular price.

You do the math. Good Luck!

  • i'd decoden dat doe.

  • @ComeMonday5 it wouldnt be that much, you could buy the supplies in bulk off ebay. you can get a pack of 96 head bands for $18. I would say all together it may cost you no more than $30 if you know where to shop

  • @nailaunique thanks :)
