I think Charlie Watts has a lot of class. He knows he's not a technically great drummer because he knows who the technically great drummers are or were and he is keenly aware and appreciative of them. He is the kind of drummer that keeps the rest of the band together because he's not all over the place showing off. No matter how loaded Keith or Ronnie are on any given night, they know the BEAT is gonna be THERE CONSISTENTLY, without fail. Yet unlike drum machines, it will have FEEL.
