Tommy loves his mommy so much it's just so sweet and when Tommy said "Because I need to be here with you." that made me cry a little bit.

Here's my theory about the ending of the movie Tommy goes back on the Sandlot's team and E.J quits his Dad's team and joins the Sandlot's team and Tommy and E.J get along really well and becomes friends and then the Sandlot team wins so E.J's Dad won't put up those houses on The Sandlot and every player on the Sandlot including E.J gets married and has kids.
