Technically Phantom isn't entirely over. They're remaking the original game but using the designs and entire voice cast of the TV series. I kind of wish maybe the studio would make an OAV, possibly to generate interest for the remake. Maybe base it off Cal's ending from the game. Not likely, but one can hope.

I'm kind of hoping it also gets ported to PS3. Those are region free so I can play it even without a translation.

I think it's best we just accept that Phantom is over for now......despite the ending. <_<

Seriously, that ending was a real downer.

I just came up with my own ending after the 20 minute mark of the final episode, since the REAL ending was so...random. We can't draw our own conclusions from that! It's like; "nope, you accept OUR ending!"

yeah, requiem for the phantom is based in these ova, but obviously have some changes, but principally in the ovas show the romance between zwei and eren.
