Sen. Ben Cardin today discussed on the Senate floor the Court's 2007 decision in Ledbetter vs. Goodyear Tire, where just five Justices decided to give immunity to employers who covertly discriminate against their workers. "This decision appalled me and many of our colleagues," said Cardin. "We were shocked. Whose side is the Supreme Court on?"
