The RoofBlaster wind turbine forms part of the roof and is thus for new construction only. The roof acts as the input of a funnel and heavily concentrates the wind while turbulence is stabilized while the wind is on its way to the small turbine located just under the ridge -on top of the attic-. Well protected against vibration and properly insulated the turbine is practically invisible and inaudible. Thanks to the wind concentration the low wind performance is excellent. The price per kW is in the same range as large wind parks; a breakthrough for small wind.
