Chapter 23:
*back with Kate and Audree*
Audree's POV:
-Last time-
She turned to me and said, "were not helping him are we?"
"Nope!" I smiled, "we are going to solve this ourselves. We have Jamie and Bee out there chasing after them, just call Bee's cell phone, she'll tell us where they are, we can lead the lug in the opposite direction, and then we can save Izzy!"
"Let's do this!"
We high-fived and got to work.

-Now-
We tried calling Jamie's cell phone but it went straight to voicemail.
We've left maybe 37 messages?
She still hasn't called back.
We have no idea where they are.
No idea if they're safe.
All we know, err hope, is that they're together.
"They'll be fine if they're together right?" Kate asked me.
"Yeah, I'm sure of it." I said with a complete unsure tone.
We directed the big body guard/stalker towards Greenfield, in Monterey County.
He should be lost for quite some time now.
If only we could figure out where they are…
*at the restaurant*
Jamie's POV:
I checked my phone only to find it turned off.
I turned it back on, and...
"Jamie? What are you doing?" Izzy interrupted my thoughts.
"Hm? Oh my phone was turned off. I was just going to text Audree to tell her we found you."
"Wait. There's more of you?' Joe asked.
"Yeah our two friends. They're back at our hotel. This is our vacation together." Bee said.
"Oh." Nick said.
"Bee! Something must have happened! They left me 37 messages." Jamie told me in shock.
"Did you try calling him back?" Nick said.
"I will right now." Jamie got up from the table and stepped outside to make the call.
"Did you say him?" I asked Nick.
"Yeah. Aren't you here with your boyfriends?" he asked me.
I couldn't help but laugh. He thought I was here with a boyfriend!
"Nick, you think I'm here with someone?! Hahaha!" I started to calm down. "No, I'm here with Jamie, Audree, and Kaitlyn. My three best friends from birth. All girls. How did you get boyfriend from that?"
"Oh I don't know. I just figured you would have someone. Any guy should be so lucky." He looked at me.
"Oh." I blushed, "Well no worries. I'm single as single can be."
"Me too." He smiled.
"Not dating little miss Miley?" I asked.
"Nooo! That's long over."
"Not according to the magazines" I joked.
"Yeah well the tabloids lie. They lie a lot..." a serious tone in his voice.
"I figured that." I looked down. "What about Selena?"
What can I say? I'm a curious person.
"Just friends" he answered.
"That's nice" I looked at him, to find him looking at me.
"Yeah." He said, "It's real nice. She"s a good friend to have."
I smiled, "she seems like she would be."
I heard a buzzing noise.
"Oh sorry that's my phone." He said as he reached into his pocket.
It must have been a text because he looked at his phone then closed it, and looked back at me.
I gave him a confused look and he said, "Just a text from Demi, I'll talk to her later"
"You can answer it. It's no big de-" my pocket buzzed. "Ha, looks like someone's calling me too."
He smiled.
"I'll be right back" I told him.
I got up from the table and stepped outside.
I looked at my caller ID, "Daron".
Hmm. That's weird. Why is he calling?
"Hello?"
"Bridget? Is that you?"
"Yes,… Daron?" I asked.
"Yeah it's me.. Um.. I didn't think this through.." I heard him curse under his breath.
"Is there something you wanted to say?" I pried softly.
"Umm.. Yeah, is my sister with you our mom wanted to ask her something." He said quickly.
"Oh um no she's back at the hotel." I answered kind of disappointed.
"Oh she's at the hotel.. Wait if she's there, where are you?"
"Oh me? I'm at a restaurant with Jamie, our new friend Izzy, and.." I paused remembering Nick and Joe.
"And.. who?" he asked.
"And no one. Just Jamie and Izzy." I said quickly.
"Yeahh.. Sure… well I guess I'll just try Audree's cell phone… bye." he sounded upset.
"Okay.. Sorry.. Bye" I said only to find the line already dead.
I closed my phone and walked back inside.
I'm probably just over thinking things.
I walked back inside and as soon as I saw nick he looked up and smiled at me.
I quickly forgot everything that just happened and sat down next to him.
