make us any any more unnatural than any other species. Elephants destroy habitat all the time. So do many other creatures. Bottom line is climate will change whether we like act or not. Climate change will have benefits and liabilities not matter what we do. So spending gigantic money and life style rollbacks to fix something that is probably unfixable, would certainly have unintended consequences as dire as your worries. In other words you haven't conviced me climate change is bad, and

Further more, you no doubt are a darwinian devotee. It seems funny to me that the natural evolution you postulate is a story of destruction and rebuilding to create a fit species. If we, as you say, are dooming ourselves their must be a need for evolutionary forces, to have created a species that would change the climate, and stress a whole bunch of species to find out which one will be fit to survive such a holocaust. We are part of nature. Just because we build things and use energy doesn't

The reason I'm not buying your arguments is because you're a liberal. I have rarely seen a liberal give conservatives a fair shake. Case in point the worst fun maker is Steven Colbert. I noticed you list him as a favorite of yours. So, now I'm even more suspicious of your motives. I do know that liberals think capitalism is a moral evil and would like to destroy or cripple it. And climate change could easily be a device used to achieve that goal. So I'm even more suspicious of your motives.

@michelleleerosen The funny hats and T-Shirts show that this guy doesn't take himself too seriously. He knows his place in the credibility chart and plays off that. It's part of the charm of these videos. The data is what matters and not the most superficial of presentation elements... which nevertheless do warm up the speaker to the audience... and by audience I mean me! :D

I love your videos but it probably would have been better if you did not have the funny hats on since many people may not have paid much attention to you at first glance just by thinking you were some kind of joker without hearing what you were saying. It may be best to film a documentary for professionals and politicians to hear with you wearing a suit and tie looking very professional. Your message is critical for the world. Please prepare one documentary for Netflix and send it worldwide.

Siberian permafrost holds peat sometimes hundreds of feet deep, so it's an enormous carbon sink. As this vast land area is now thawing, some lakes are witnessed to be "boiling" with methane bubbles released from peat underneath the surface of the water.

@deathcomesarippin You are missing a very important point. In fact really the most salient point. If the Greenland
ice sheets melts significantly, it will disrupt the thermo-haline transfer (Google this) that happens in the North Atlantic. This transfer is what keeps Northern and Western Europe relatively temperate in comparison to its lattitude. Glacial melt water disrupting the transfer will cause Northern and Western Europe to become MUCH colder.
Go ahead and quote the verses to me in the bible that deal with condemning random people. Yeah buddy. Jesus did that all the time. -_-
