  • Ironically, we owe a huge debt to the Japanese for presenting great American singers and jazz artists like Anita O'Day and Julie London in their prime and with such reverence.

  • I wasn't paying much attention when she was popular -- now I see and hear what all the fuss was about -- she is REALLY good. Fantastic.
