I'm thinking of taking LASIK when I'm older. Maybe when I'm around my 30s. I'm only 14 right now so I don't have to really worry about it. Hopefully LASIK will improve in the future and be more reliable.
My only question is that is there ANY pain? No pain at all? Just looking at this makes my eyes dry and makes me feel sick.

haha terrible graphics on the video, but otherwise very informative and helpful. My surgery's a week away and my surgeon is similarly well qualified - can't wait!!
To anyone considering it, go for your consultation. If they're as reputable and honest as where I'm going then they'll cover all the questions being asked in these comments that Proc is answering very well.
Wish me luck :)

Great video and nice to get info from patients directly. Check out our channel for more info on anything related to laser eye surgery.
Only if you're keen, that is :)
Dr. Steven Vale is awesome! I can see like an Eagle! I should have had laser vision correction years ago! My consultation was free and no pressure. They explained the entire LASIK experience, before and after surgery, to me in detail. I had shopped around prior to going to Acuity. They were over $1800 less than the next closest priced laser vision center for two eyes! I have recommended 9 people to Acuity Laser Eye & Vision Center. They are all thrilled with their outcomes!

There is PRK, no cutting involved. Also, there is epi-LASIK, no cutting and no flap.
