@shohchkheh In the realm of honey-products you will have natural meads, hops meads, herbal/spicy meads and finally fruit meads. Here ends the realm of meads. Another specification are fruit wines amongst which you can find so-called honey wines which are a hybrid between fruit wine and factual mead.

@AURIPIGMENT Mead is wine produced from honey and not grapes. I think we all know that, but saying mead is not honey wine is just an unnecessary quiddity.

@shohchkheh Honey wine is just wine flavoured with honey, such a product is light, low in alcohol (up to 12%) and more similar to wine than a typical mead-the simplest recipe is adding 1 part of mead to 2-3 parts of young fruit wine, mead is a drink on its own and although made thru fermentation it is not wine alike albeit having wine characteristics.

Honey wine is not mead. And it is half of the story if one forgets about Polish and Lithuanian traditions of mead.

Very nice, but those people make druids look like vegan pussy wiccans. Drwdae were the elite ruling class of the celts, along side the solduros, knights.
