Muffins taste must better than most cupcakes. The cake part of the cup cake doesn't taste very good, and neither does he frosting most of the time. I'm not saying I dislike it.. but in general muffins with all yummy flavors (at least if they are well made muffins) are much better than cupcakes.

I completely agree, people always desecrate cupcakes with sprinkles and put so much icing that you can't taste the actual cupcake.
