@Spoolin95DSM Well where I am at we have a bunch of dsm that look like rejects of Tokyo drift.They throw some exhaust on cold air intake and a HUGE wing and think they have a fast car. I understand if you put time and money into anything you can make it fast just saying I had a TSI and it was not what I expected...

@boushey22 Hey not trying to start anything at all. But i feel its very possible to run in the 11s for $1300 in a dsm. First of all completley stripped interior. I have seen on dsm tuners a stock 14b turbo car running 11.50s. So a good 11 second formula would be. 255 fuel pump 650cc injectors open exhaust 2g mani 14b turbo ported and wide open Super stripped interior. Arp heads studs 4 layer head gasket Good sticky tires. Cams from Delta ,Hks replica reground 272/272 2600 clucth

I have to disagree. DSM's when done right can be fast as hell and to be quite honest it takes close to nothing. A simple evo3 16g car with supporting mods go 11's with proper tuning. Turbo, injectors, fuel pump, Supra side mount intercooler, clutch, dsmlink...done. We have a local guy on a evo16g 1st gen talon awd running consistant 11.1's on E85 here. This guy can drive the hell out of the car but it goes to show you it can be done. That is only one example of many.
