This is from the film Before Sunset, Richard Linklater's sequel to his first movie about an American (Ethan Hawke) and a French woman (Julie Delpy) who fall in love in Europe. In this clip, Delpy's character performs a waltz she wrote that describes her experiences in the first movie. I've been a long-time fan of Delpy, and wasn't aware she was such a great musician until I saw this part of the movie (she wrote the lyrics and the music, I believe).

The title itself, Before Sunset differs from Before Sunrise. During the day we are awake experiencing realism. During the night we experience our dreams and the magic. There is a certain intrigue in between the sun's slumber and it's rise - in that it continues long before we stop to exist. The love is as eternal in the mind and in the heart, as it ever will be in the physical sense. The first movie was a dream the second movie was a reality. The Waltz is the only thing that connects
this movie makeme cry so much as I find my self in the same exsactly situation, I will always be in love with that person even do we live in diferent continents and I am married too. I even still have dreams about him too.
Look at all the true facts their characters were based on -- Delpy really is from Paris and Hawke really is from Texas; in real life she is a Sag and he is a Scorp, as she casually mentioned; she really learned guitar a few years before this movie; and he really did get married, write a novel, and have a son [and a daughter] after Before Sunrise but before the sequel. Here's where it gets interesting ... he got divorced the year this movie came out. What is he trying to tell us...?
hahaha :O its amazingg!! there is a big resemblance between their caracters and theirselves ... hope love was one of the things they had in common to ;) :P they are perfect
