THU MAR 29 2007 -- Video of fire department operations to prevent gasoline ignition and stabilize and prepare a Chevy Suburban for towing after it crashed onto the Metra tracks at the Arlington Heights downtown station. The truck had a ruptured gas tank and leaking gasoline, but no fire occurred. The driver was injured and transported to a Northwest Community Hospital.

    Woman hits gas instead of brake?

    Should have backed it out, maybe needed to get unstuck, andriven it away.

    But towing company would like to charge for needless tow.

  • engine 2,sqd2,and batt 1 is from hq as station 2 on arlington hts rd off of oakton st

  • i agree with codyZ71 wich i take it is a chevy fan by the name you could totally drive it away if the tank wasnt cracked the truck still apeared to be in good condition but hey its a chevy so its like a rock:)
