THU MAR 29 2007 -- Video of fire department operations to prevent gasoline ignition and stabilize and prepare a Chevy Suburban for towing after it crashed onto the Metra tracks at the Arlington Heights downtown station. The truck had a ruptured gas tank and leaking gasoline, but no fire occurred. The driver was injured and transported to a Northwest Community Hospital.
Cause?
Woman hits gas instead of brake?
Should have backed it out, maybe needed to get unstuck, andriven it away.
But towing company would like to charge for needless tow.
