Genova Pride 2009 - video

250,000 townspeople and revellers took part in the city's first major LGBT pride, culminating in an address by the mayor, Marta Vincenzi, on the main city square, Piazza Ferrari. Although around a quarter of the city turned out for the 3.5-hour pride politicised police estimates of attendance were as low as 40,000.
