@mathieuf20 Nah, Steam sucks. I got a better computer than you can even fathom and Steam is still slow and unresponsive half the time, and downloading games remains a joke.

ctrl+alt+delete and right click day of defeate or hl.exe under prosses and click maximize and bring to from ... that should work

I had the same issue , you have to disable DEP . som windows indexing shit or whatever. Thats one fix to it atleast.

Only solution= Reinstall Windows
After reinstalling, process goes to 100% when I launch DoD, impossible to play...
