King Harkinian (dubbed King of Hyrule in this fanmade game by GMSpectre), thanks to the lack of cooldown time on his projectile animation, is a pressure-applying character that can also be played defensively. He does have Royal Proclamation, which is a 2-hitter meant to be a combo finisher, but at 70fps, I have major problems comboing (60fps is too slow IMO). But other than that, he's all defensive/pressure tactics. His False Sense of Peace is a simple counter move that has the properties of SSBB's Marth's counter, meaning he can counter anything except throws, including super projectiles! However, if predicted, all the opponent has to do is wait for the "...true warriors strive for!" bit of the counter for a free head-on assault. But if you hit him right on "This peace is what all....", he'll punch you in the face and call you a "scrub."

One of his DMs, "Link My Boy," allows him to summon Link, who would throw sword projectiles, which I don't remember him doing even in Link: the Faces of Evil. His other DM, "Squadala," can also be used as a combo finisher. Harkinian uppercuts the opponent and summons Gwonam, who attacks him. IMO, it looks like the perfect DreamCancel opportunity.
Finally, his SDM, "It Has Been Written," has Harkinian disappearing and reappering in Gwonam's magic carpet with Gwonam himself and Link pointing his sword downward. If that sword comes in contact with a non-blocking opponent, that opponent must say goodbye to 85% of his health.

  • He could use an anti-air attack, too.

Probably ones where he goes an uppercut while holding a chicken/turkey leg.

It could be called Dinn-AIR, or something. lol

  • @Slowbroseph

For now, he's stuck with his Crouching Heavy Punch.

  • Thaks for posting the longplay. I'm looking for feedback on what I can change and tweak for my projects.

Also, I'd suggest leaving the scaling off. There's something off about it since it only scales when someone ducks. I'm not sure if it does it by sprites or hitboxes or anything else.

  • @GMSpectre

It has to be the height of the sprites, because I noticed that if you defeat anyone with Poppy, it automatically zooms to him.

  • lol dinner dinner

  • intresting , someone should make this king for mugen, but with more moves

  • @PsychoJolteon nvm then

  • @ReimuHakureiShrine

Nope. UFGE and MUGEN are two different engines.

  • @PsychoJolteon so i can add sthe mugen skullomania to it?

  • @ReimuHakureiShrine

While this game was made with a fighting game engine, this is not MUGEN. Trust me, if this was MUGEN, the characters would be much more pleasant to look at when it comes to graphics, unless those characters were made by a garbage creator.

Anyway, the name of the fighting game engine used to make KoF20x2 is Ultimate Fighting Game Engine, or UFGE for short.
