The occasion of wedding loses its charm without the element of ceremony, which involves various rules and rituals to be followed.
Ceremonies in a wedding are meant not only for social recognition of the marriage, but also for provideing a single platform for all the friends and relatives and acquaintances to assemble during the wedding and have fun together. A ceremony anywhere in the world implies a re-union of the friends and relatives and associates. Mydearvalentine provides detailed information about wedding ceremonies to help you know the importance of ceremonies.
Presently, abiding by the wedding ceremony books is the ruling trend. You can get your ceremony book either from the online shops or from the websites of the publishing houses, which promote such ceremony books. These books guide you through with the dos and donts in a wedding, giving examples of the vows by the bride and the groom and about the role and actions of the brides and the grooms parents and of the kids and the bridesmaid and the groomsmen and the flower girls. These books also offer a detailed insight about the wedding and ring vows.
Wedding ceremonies are becoming more and more unconventional. Most people are now abandoning the long ceremonies and taking to simple vows, which are less time-consuming and yet spiritually binding. In order to have a simple wedding, one can also approach certain agencies through their websites and hire officials to guide one through with a simple and spiritual means to have a wedding. These agencies also facilitate sacred weddings with simple exchange of vows between the couples. They facilitate all types of marriages, as they believe every one, whether Jewish, Protestant, Muslim, Catholic or any other faith, to be Jesus' followers. Even those who do not belong to any faith can avail of the facilities of the wedding ceremonies as they are totally spiritual. Here is a brief description of a wedding ceremony:
The groom enters the stage either with the minister or with the groomsmen who are otherwise supposed to escort the bridesmaids down the aisle and to the altar. Then the bridesmaids come to the center of the aisle, one by one, mostly escorted by the groomsmen. The Maid Of Honor escorted by the Best Man enters the stage and the Flower Girl and the Ring Bearer lastly follow them. Finally, the bride and her father walk down the aisle as its time for the brides father to give away his daughter to the groom. In the absence of the brides father or both of her parents either a Godparent or a priestly mentor do the favor of giving away the bride. Finally, the priest helps the couple to exchange the vows and they exchange rings as the marriage is affirmed. The bride and the groom go out and the bride turns back and throws the bouquet in her hand for her friends to receive. Tthe Maid of Honor and the Best Man follow, leaving the church behind the bride and the groom. Then the Bridesmaids and the Groomsmen leave the church followed by the Flower Girl and the Ring Bearer. Finally the guests leave the church. Normally this whole wedding ceremony procedure shouldnt take more than 15 to 20 minutes as stretching it for a longer period may push the guests to boredom.
The topic of wedding ceremonies remains incomplete without a mention of the grand Indian wedding, which is usually a celebration extending over several days, wherever in India it may be. India being a multi-ethnic nation is home to different castes and communities and the marriage ceremonies in different states vary from each other. If the Bengalis start with the haldi ceremony then the Punjabis and other communities begin with the mehendi ceremony. These morning ceremonies take place separately at the brides and the grooms houses and the mandaps are nicely decorated with a gorgeous canopy and with flowers. The bride and the grooms body are embrocated with haldi or turmeric paste and sandalwood paste and aromatic oils for a fresh look and a soft skin during the main ceremony. Then there are other morning ceremonies where the bride performs a religious ceremony with her brother where she gives offerings to the gods and the ancestors. The baarat from the bridegrooms side appears in the evening accompanied by his entire family and his friends and relatives. The brides mother and the other female members of her family receive them. The priest commences the Hindu marriages where the specially decorated canopy plays an important role as it signifies the occasion of a gorgeous Hindu wedding. The whole ceremony where the priest chants numerous mantras for almost an hour or more and finally when the marriage is over when the guests congratulate and bless the couple and offer tokens and other gifts. In the Hindu marriage ceremonies kanya daan is an important aspect, which is something, equivalent to its Christian counter part of giving away the daughter. Only that the Indian ceremony is more time consuming and
