But white's lance is still there, so it's easier.

Hi Hidetchi, I'm playing this saginomiya against my girlfriend, but she doesn't move with her gold to 5b, instead plays silver 4c early, then rook 3b, and when I attack, she can move away with the bishop, and I remember you saying that in this case saginomiya is not working. Professional players havn't been playing ordinary 4th-file rook very often in the last couple of years, because static rook's anaguma strategy is pretty good against it.

But it's only the case with professional games. In amateur level, 4th-file rook is still popular. If you go for static rook anaguma against a better player than you, he'll easily destroy your anaguma with Fujii system. And of course, rapid attacks can also be dealt with properly by 4th file rook.
