I could agree with that if Haby had lunged or skated out of the blue paint going for the poke. But Shannon clearly skates in to the blue paint and interfers before shooting, makes no difference that Habi attempted poke. Poke check legal play, goalie interference is not, goal should not had counted and Habi should have got a penality for the the whack after.

@cudabluesman only reason his skate hits the goalie is because the goalie tried to go for a pokecheck and missed, that's not shannons fault.

Shannon's skate was into Khabibulins left pad before he even shot the puck. I guess you can just skate into the goalie then shoot. bs goal

The NHL should be ashamed of that? No, the goalie should be ashamed, not the entire organization of the NHL. That's like saying all humanity should be ashamed for what Hitler did - completely illogical.
