brings back memories...my mom listening to the radio frying chicken...we'd be singing...life seemed so easier then, it was better, didn't worry like we do now.

Gene is what other country music artist seek to be. I love this song. Got a youngster listening to it because I love it so much. I have been in New Orleans many times so I can just see something like that happening. lol Good Gene! hope he is around a long time more. He is super singer. lol Sitting there singing is a rare talent. Good job Gene. Keep it up.

music that just gets all over your soul.. damn i want to pop a beer and i haven't had one in over 5 years. I'm 33 and my brother is 29 and people thinks its the funniest thing we love sitting together listening to all these great old tunes.
