I guess my question is although outside temps are lower what is the temp differential at the return and supply. ?

@manholewisdom At this very moment I am in the room and dont' have the heatpump turned on. I'ts 63F outside, the indoor temp is 69.1 and the temp in the box is 97.5,. Holding a thermocouple right in front of the return gives me an 89 degree temp. ...it was 64.1 when I came in here about 2 to 2-1/2 hrs ago and not it's 69.1 so it's slowly coming up! Think the next version I make will use aluminum flexible dryer vent duct so I can dodge the paint smell! :)
