Basically, in Islam, charity can be any act of kindness to yourself and others. So, giving is not limited to money, but cleaning the road is a charity, saying a kind word to others is a charity, etc.

Well it is your choice to believe what you want, and in alot of places in the world you can freely choose who you want to worship BUT NOT in Islamic countrys where if you leave islam and choose not to be muslim then you are commanded to be killed. @MichaelJacksonZPMJJ well I have read qur'an and alot of hadaiths pertaining to important issues and I find that even muslims dont agree with them. For example..you said that qur'an said "...take not jews and christians for friends, they are friends of one another..." and so I quoted that to show Muhammads amonosity and I was told that Pichall translation should of translated the word friend to word allie as in a war context. The problem is the real Qur'an shows alot of evil morality of Muhammad

@danielefsot I hope some of those things will clarify. God means same not to be friends with those Muslims who belong to groups that r people-made. Only one will go to heaven and that is true Muslim that doesn't believe or joins any groups and he follows what Prophet Muhammed PBUH taught. Don't follow the scollars cuz some of them r just misleading u. All ur info u can find in Quran and Hadith.

@danielefsot sorry for late reply. I converted from Christianity to Islam in 2009. Many things make more sense in Islam than in Christianity and Islam explains well.

O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.
