  • How are the panneles supposed to be moved?

  • @Raffix394 they are on a spring hinge. to deploy them, once the cube leaves the pod and the boot-up sequence begins a current will be sent through nichrome wire that will melt the fishing string holding the panels down.

  • Searching the internet with the keywords "Cubesat Forum" I found out that Vega rocket launch was postponed again. At least 8 cubesat (1 kg, 1 cubic decimeter satellite) constructors have been waiting for more than three years. The satellites, most of them built by universities, are ready but it seems that Vega will never go into orbit.
