Going by what's said on this video, I'll hold my judgment until I get more facts on Khalidi. The dude seemed pretty reasonable and intelligent on this video. I'm not rushing to anyone's side yet.

Obama should definitely have more dinners with Khalidi. Khalidi presents a clear and precise picture of the total oppression of the Palestinian people by Israel. It seems that so many don't want to see that, let alone acknowledge that. I suppose if people want to be ignorant and prejudiced and in agreement with Israel's murderous actions and US complicity in this, then they will be forever blind to obvious truths.

Is he talking about the Palestine that wants to be a "Jew Free" zone. The poor Palestinians are elected to office in the Israeli Government. Arabs live freely in Israel. Arabs and Palestinians butcher Jews and Christians as they are obligated to do by order of the Koran. Palestine seeks to be not just a state, but an apartheid State (Jew Free). Excuse me mr. Khalidi. Palestine was occupied in 1948. Villages were destroyed and ethnically cleansed in 1948 (And before). Palestinians who still live in Israel are treated as second class citizens SINCE 1948. That makes it 63 YEARS OF OCCUPATION (60 if you were talking in 2008) and NOT 40 Years.

@andyinvietnam There is an occupation as Israel launched an aggressive war and occupied the West Bank and Gaza in June 1967, which contrary to Zionist propaganda was NOT a preemptive war. Israel was offered multiple opportunities for negotiations from U Thant, the UN etc. for a peaceful resolution of the crisis created by the remilitiarisation of the Sinai and the closure of the Straits of Tiran which Egypt accepted but Israel rejected. The refugees result from Israeli ethnic cleansing in 1948.
