Many thanks and that sounds right. In fact, I believe I have some Static come to think, but I haven't gone through my collection since the latter part of the 1990s.
No one will ever top Alan Moore for writing or Neal Adams for art, in my opinion!

Are those Charlton's Mr. A? I never picked up an issue so I woudn't know, but admire Steve Ditko a lot. What an independent rebel!

Mr.A #1 was published by Comic Art Publishers (c) 1973 Mr.A. #2 by Bruce Hershenson (c) 1975 Ditko's Static was published by Charlton and then by Robin Snyder and Steve Ditko

Yes, I have one issue of Static with the Armed Man in it from Charton. Since I posted the above, I pulled some of my comic book collection out of my storage shed (the rest of it's too large) and also discovered The Missing Man in the back of Pacific Comic's The Rocketeer issue #2.

As I have written to Steve Ditko over the years they used part of a recent letter to Steve in Pacific Comic's Present's # 1. So in a comic rarity for the time the 1st issue had some letters. As walked in my comic shop IU was told I had a letter in the book.
