The Kadey Krogen Manatee, "Fat Chance", 6 months later....wmv

In the five months between buying the boat and taking off for our Bahamas cruise we put in well over 1,500 hours doing upgrades. Except for the bottom peel, which was done by Osprey Marine, all upgrades were done by Deb and I. Many of the important changes are not visible on the surface and many of the cosmetic changes have been put off till next year because we just didnt have time before heading off. Our main concerns before leaving were to make sure that the boat was sound, safe, and comfortable. After having lived aboard for 5 months now, two of them cruising, we feel that we have more than achieved our goals for this year.
