I rnted a 6 Spd Touring in FL this past wknd. This thing is 2 fast for the front wheels. I saw 130mph twice, on a straight stretch of HWY 192, effortless. Needs much grippier front tires, maybe my rental didn't have trac. control, because, everytime I would do hard 1st gear acceleration, the front wheels would spin crazy to the red line. It had nice non-projector self level HIDs, they react quickly, you can see the lights leveling under hard acceleration or braking. Satisfying car over all

Poor car, it's heavy with 4300 lbs and AC on!

@radrai1 I have one (Touring Edition) and it's AWFUL to drive in the rain you push to hard the front wheels just slide all over the place! Definately agree with you on too much power to the front wheels!

not going to lie..what you are showing is pretty slow....in that same time you went to 70-105.....seems like in my mom avalon...which is the 07 limited...i would be going about 120-125 in that same time you hit 105......my moms car can jump from 70-100 in probally 3 seconds
what kind of mileage do you get. I know some people drive hard all of the time so it is hard to get accurate reading, hopefully you can give a good number. i do like the Avalon.

I got 23mpg and I didn't drive it easy either. The car was a rental so I can't speak for all avalon owners.

how did that car drive and handle? the TOURING model has a stiffer suspension and read it drove firmer

It was firm but for a fwd at 3600 pounds I didn't know how great it can be I didn't take quick turns and yea it's down on options but all I need is a sunroof and a optional package
