3 birds - Brendon Urie July 7th 2009.

I was really crushed when I heard that Panic was splitting up and Ryan and Jon decided to go their own way. It hurt, and I bawled the entire day, and all night and then I heard this. And all I can say is:

I believe Brendon. Everything /will/ be all right. Things will work out. I support them, I love them for who they are and the music they create. I will miss all of them being in Panic but I'm also looking forward to Jon and Ryan's own thing.

This song made my night a million times better, and I've got so much faith in Brendon and Spencer, and Ryan and Jon. They'll get through this and so will us fans. The true ones, the devoted ones stand beside them no matter what right? Right. I just hope that (in less then 10 years) they get back together. Reunite.

It is most definitely him. He wrote about it on Twitter. I still wonder about "first try" though, cuz that is one song that doesn't sound like him.
