Gran Turismo 5 Time Trial Demo

Replay footage captured off-screen with a digital camera.

This demo will be publicly available from Dec 17, 2009 and it will be used in the GT Academy 2010 competition. You'll find it from Playstation Store.

There are two playable cars included, a normal and tuned version of Nissan 370Z. The tuned is of course faster and offers better grip, but both have their own online leaderboards so you can shine even with the stock version.

The track in question is the Road Course of Indianapolis Motor Speedway. There are no more tracks in this demo but you are forced to use professional driving model which offers plenty of challenge if you wish to top those leaderboards.

how do you go there? i am already registered. is it seaonal events? my seasonal events show time trial, drift, bonus race with restrictions, etc. but nuthn bout nissan gt academy. i have a region 3 copy though. is it region locked? help! thanks

@lotgendrala This is an old demo version, which was made for the European GT Academy competition (where they sought real drivers out of gamers). As far as I know, this particular competition is not available in the full game, at least not right now.

This was more like a sneak peak at the demo before it was released. I'm not boasting with the time - in fact it's there just to be beaten.

look at the top 250 online and more than 80% are using a built in steering wheel that costs around £600 serious and on normal not tuned they can move their traction control were you cant with a pad. its all about money
