  • Watch "Fathead" and lift the veil of misinformation from your eyes.

  • The Body Mass Index scale is shite, it should be abolished.

  • I'm on the new 'logic' diet it's working great so far :P

  • My partner had difficulties with bodyweight for quite a number of time now and she found a number of so known as DietOramy food regimen (google it) - she's had quite a accomplishment with it so far, and doctor says she is healthful as by no means prior to...

  • @aluisious Well, if you go back a few million years, "humans" were living and eating like other great apes, a diet of ~99% fruits/veggies. The claim that we evolved to eat meat is unfounded and false. The evidence tells us that we evolved to eat starches like tubers and grains. We know this based on the high amount of amylase (starch digesting enzyme) produced in our saliva and gut. Early humans ate meat to buffer against starvation, not because it was healthy.

  • @1imesub Humans have been around longer than that. You're thinking of homo sapien, maybe. Our "primitive ancestors" were still certainly human. Homo erectus is thought to have cooked its food as well.

  • @aluisious Humans have only been around for ~100 thousand years... You must be referring to our primitive ancestors. We evolved for a reason, don't go back!!!!

  • @aluisious good for u

  • @bleaupearls Food is supposed to be dead. We're not jackals, we have been cooking meat for hundreds of thousands of years.

  • @vigilantezack BMI is hilarious. I used to lift weights so I am heavier than I would otherwise be (165 lbs, 5'8"). My doctor had me stand on a scale, then looked at the chart, and said I was overweight.

I couldn't believe he was looking right at me and saying it. If he had tried to grab fat rolls anywhere on my body, it would be impossible, yet his chart was telling him I was "overweight."
