@Romanorum i is good for one to be able to rely on the work or their soul to make a living. It used to be trades. Even traditional Native Healers (of various cultures) take in 'gifts'. It's the same thing. No one is selling spirit here, just their teachings of their understanding of it... I know what you're saying, most good things come 'naturally', for free. This is still ok tho, cos it's a correct way to earn one's keep. We 'whites' often have to rely only on our own self...no community left

@ApacheLife5465 The patriarchal religions destroyed that; we did have our own. Goddess/ Earth religion. It was brutalized by the romans and burned down by the 'christians' . A 'witch' etymologically, is someone who 'knows'. So they burned women who knew healing lores, cos they did not depend on men. Before you speak of cultural things, you need to do some research! Just cos your judgements are printed here does not make 'em truths. Shamans are from Eastern Europe Originally, btw. Pre migrations.

@Romanorum She costs quite a bit too. Over 100.00 for less than two hours for some of the healing and the guided meditations and whatever. Look on her website.

Curious.
Do people really actually care for the well being of indegenious peoples? Or do they only care about their 'shamanic' teachings?

@MadTwatter7 White ppl need to stay away from Native "shamanism" or whatever you want to call it. If whites had their own shamanism they need to stick to their own ways and not "borrow" Native ways. When they "borrow" our ways it's direspecting us and disrespecting our ways.

Aboriginal shamans are gonna ask for cash just like white shamans, white people arent stealing native american traditions in my opinion but more "borrowing" it i guess, cos white ppl did have a shamanistic tradition of thier own, thats who the druids were, they were the native british shamans, but then when the romans came to britain they destroyed all the druids saying they were trafficking with the devil or wotever, So white ppl are just as entitled to practice shamanism as native ppl
shaman? ... right..... anyone calling themselves a "shaman" , isn't.

Hello Samthor, thank you for your comment and yes I agree with your comment, that is exactly why I do not call myself a shaman and and instead mention shamanic wisdom so that those who wish to learn about shamanic wisdom can learn from the stone wisdom that I have spent 7 years practicing sitting in stillness and silence with the stones of the Earth.
blessings,
Amalia.
