Same problem with totaly new servo. I replaced all the gears. Even dissasembled the entire servo and cleaned the potentiometer but nothing helped :(

I have the SAME problem on my 450 pro with a ds520. What did you do to fix it. Was it the servo or the gyro?

Sorry to hear that. I hope it did not cause a crash.Ive been running the Futaba servo now for 2 yrs, and no probs. Mine went dead silent when it stopped, if it was a mechanical problem it would have been making that familiar binding noise.

I basically did some troubleshooting:
- plugged servo straight into rudder channel, see if problem occurs
- changed servo to a different channel
- rate mode, just because I was desperate....
- inspected gears inside the servo
In the end, I realized that it was teh servos fault. I fixed it by buying a similar Futaba servo, a 9257 I think. Its probably an eletric error. I contacted the shop that sold me this servo and I am awaiting a reply...
