I am a die hard mets fan, but it is hard to hate the phanatic, especially when our mascot is a gay baseball

Dude the Phinatic is the best mascot in the world. All other fans can hate all they want, the fact of the matter is Phillies still won the WS. Nothing you can say can take that away from us.

We went to a Dodgers vs Phillies game in L.A (in our Phillies gear).... that was a little scary :-/ I love the Phillies and the Phanatic is the best mascot ever.

@stanmimo City of brotherly love, we dont treat opposing fans like shit, unless your acting like a total jackass when you are here. (aka just about all Mets fans that make the trip). Im glad you enjoyed your stay and yeah the Phanatic does that to the opposing players just about every game lol sometimes the players play along.

@23towers23 Surprisingly we didnt really get any crap from really anyone. We arrived that morning and did a few touristy things like the liberty bell and going to where ever the hell the cheese steak originated. The whole time we were wearing our Cards gear and i would say i was surprised on how nice and welcoming the folks in Philadelphia were to us.

cause real fans go see their team in an away uniform. I have been to every MLB ball park except Toronto and Seattle.
Did you watch the Super Bowl from home? I didnt. I was there. I was also at the World Series a few months back.

@stanmimo real fans?? ive only seen the red sox in an away uniform during a spring training game. but that doesn't mean im not a real fan, ive been following them for 17 years die hard, i havent missed a single one of their games on mlbtv......yet i havent been to one of their away games....but your gonna call me a fake fan? please. and how the fuck are you gonna compare the superbowl to 1 game in an mlb regular season out of the 162 games?

Ok, Spring Training and MLB.TV. And the fact that the Cardinals, Red Sox, and Reds fans are the least ignorant fans to in baseball. Ill give you that. So let me rephrase my comment. "Real fans, with money, travel the country and follow their team, get Super Bowl tickets, and go to the World Series.
