What a fairly amazing arcade game, atleast for my taste. This is sped up close to 2x mainly because playing at 40 fps slows it down a little *kicks fraps*, but the point of the video is there.
The game's not as simple as every arcade game, hit your enemy when it doesn't have an aura (powerups give you an aura, which denotes the level of the powerup, incidentally it always denotes what HP you're at, 1hp = no aura, 4hp = level 3 powerup), with the little drones that orbit you. If they leave your area of control, they'll eventually fade to white and can be lost if your opponent hovers over them (losing your overall firepower, which is bad), incidentally they also act as counter measures, so if a wave of enemy drones hits you and you have drones nearby, they'll act as a shield...whiiich also lowers your firepower 'cause they cancel eachother out. It's a fairly complex game, now that I'm actually explaining it...
The powerups are pretty straight forward, white are more drones (the laser-like things), blue is circular (which makes your drones make a large swirl around you when you use them as an attack), and purple which is shoot (which launches the drones in the direction they're going at an alarming speed). Although not a powerup, the field randomly has forcefields which block movement of drones including your own, which can be great use of cover, or loss of firepower, sometimes.
The CPU's in this game have a variety of AI's denoting difficulty, but the last one you can unlock, pandora, learns from how you kill it, or move to the situation. The more you beat it, the more it adapts, and subsequentially you have to adapt to it. So after binging on it for 2 hours, my pandora turned into this annoying circular user to counter my shot-based strategy.
My final word is...if you want an arcade-like casual game that can be as challenging as intellegent chess...this could be a really fun game for you.

Saw this game on Steam today. Looks awesome! :o
So you basically pick up swarms and sends it on your enemy?
