richard garwin says that he won't believe it until he can reliably boil tea with a cold fusion device. maybe he will be able to do that in 2012 with Andrea Rossi's cold fusion device!

You can bet the oil and gas industry will do anything within their power, to prevent the advancement of this technology...it's a shame, that the real inventors never got the recognition for their work.
-
shame how it says 60 minutes but the video is only 12. "/

Believe... Possible... Those are not the words of a scientist.
-
Nothing can't stop curiosity, neither powers nor money. Just a matter of time, and the history of science is repeated.

@ImUrtastyflava Trade mass for energy, just like Einstein said. Nuclear power plants do it all the time.
-
so why are we in 2011 not researching more of this? people dont realize it would cost less to prefect this than to creat that pipeline from alaska to the center of the U.S.. but then again we in america think that a talking phone is groundbreaking
-
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat less energy in more energy OUT?
O_O?
-
@zivjax no. cold fusion is too simple to be monopolized.
-
no wonder tesla was bumped off , they want you draining the earth of oil and fracturing the land for gas..
-
@zivjax Then those who choose to disrupt a good thing that the entire world can share shall be tared & feathered.
-
@a2zhandi No it is not. Greed is a problem of the human heart. If everything was free (magical world), there would still be those who seek power over others. Since there would be no way to control power through scarce resources, they would find other ways. And they would do so because that is what drives them.
-
@zivjax in a free world, greed is removed from society. Without world riches, there is no power.

Such a shame that Pons and Fleischman didn't get the recognition they deserved. Instead they were ridiculed and driven out of the work that they loved.
